Tying ends and scotch tape are for noobs.

Heat shrink tubing is for pros.

Heat shrink tubing, 3/16 inch

Wrap scotch tape on himo ends

Cut tubing to desired length

Slip heat shrink tubing over himo ends

Blow dry (or heat gun)
